Whoa there Naira, the first trial didnt fail!....the first trial reported in Oct 07, succesfully finalised 3 potential candidates ....for the next and final stage of development (pending some gm modification), and now this trial is underway, results in 6-8 weeks. Call me an eternal optimist, but it sounds like they are confident they have the right candidate vaccines now and good results can be expected, as much as you can expect anything to happen anyway. The first effective vaccine for PRRS virus, should wake a few people up...
Merial are sitting on PPE for whatever reason, poosibly due to hassles with their human adenoviral HIV vaccine research, maybe they want to wait till IMU goes broke and they can have it for free, I dunno
