It's not impossible that in this case PRU are borrowing shares off a major holder and shorting (selling) them to cap price, with a promise to repay the borrowed shares later. I just doubt it - that's all.
You can read other forums where shares have fallen 90%, and you'll nearly always find someone saying their beloved stock has been manipulated down to those levels.
IMO, the market is a dynamic object and neither wrong or right. If price falls and I'm long, then I'm wrong, and if it rises then I'm right, regardless of what forces are moving the price.
