I contacted PRU and EVR yesterday and suggested that Jeff and Neil (EVR) should have a coffee together and see if they like the idea of merging the two companies

The two companies have very complimentary business attributes with both seeking what the other has;

(1) In EVR's case it is the cash on PRU's balance sheet
(2) In PRU's case it is the diversification and scale that EVR's 5 producing West African mines provide

The combined EVR / PRU would be a very attractive West African producer with c. 780k oz production p.a. and three late stage development assets in:

(1) Sissingue (PRU)
(2) Hounde (EVR)
(3) Ity expansion (EVR)

From my perspective it is a no-brainer but probably wishful thinking ...
