Another puke in US gold names on spurious CPI data (read up about OER methodology the BLS uses and you'll wonder how anybody trades on that trash) and another day PRU isn't taking advantage of its non-sensical valuation to buy back stock.
Stock is off $103m of mkt cap as I write this. Given circa A$1bn is in cash that means EV of the company has been reduced by c8%!
Mgmt and board need to put in a buy back NOW.
Even if it is just to purchase treasury shares to give senior mgmt. a decent percentage of share based payments in their comp (vs. purely / mostly cash).
