Another thing I think we will see is the re-emergence of the GDXJ ETF as the marginal buyer of small gold stocks like PRU, RMS and SLR. In January of the last three years there has been a wave of substantial holder notices from Van Eck as money has poured into the fund. I think we will see notices start to come out over the next few weeks.
The GDXJ has also had strong outflows over the last 6 months, If this mean reverts it could amplify the amount of money coming back in.
