Hi Guys,
As I and others have been talking about, there is a reasonable arbitrage opportunity in buying AMA on the AIM exchange due to the 0.34 attaching warrant with each head share IF the transaction goes ahead.
However, it is important to make sure if you are pursuing this that your broker will allow you to exercise the warrants at some point (if the SP moves above the strike price) as these will be unlisted warrants and thus untradeable.
Do NOT transact in AMA via the E*Trade platform as per this very delayed response I received from them today:
A disappointing response from my perspective and it will prompt me to look at opening a broker account with Sprott as fbx258 has (also as I am uncomfortable with their international custodian, Citi).
