Intriguing.
I must admit that I initially missed that the shortfall was fully bid for but not allocated.
That in itself is most unusual.
You want money and then when offered it you don't accept it.
So who is it that they don't want on the register?
The shortfall of 63M shares when added to the shares already on issue would represent approximately 11.59%.
I would think it was not APAC as they didn't fully subscribe and their % shareholding was reduced.
No notice from SBM means they subscribed but just to keep their % shareholding @ 10%.
PRC increased their shareholding to 19.95% from 15.6% so they were allocated some shortfall shares.
IGO increased their shareholding to 10.26% from 9% so they also applied for shortfall shares and received an allocation. However did they apply for more and not receive them?
Intriguing as I said.
AIMO.
Thoughts anyone.
Jim.
