The coalition forces have previously said that they would slowly squeeze the houthis out of Hodeidah by cutting off all their supply routes into the port city so they couldn't get more houthis into the city. It would seem they have now cut-off all routes from the south and east and over the weekend they took control of the road from Harad in the north to Hodeidah.
They have also taken control of all the coastal towns south of Hodeidah and it wouldn't surprise if they now concentrated on coastal towns north of Hodeidah including the port city of Salif that includes the Ras Isa Oil terminal.
It really does look to be getting to an interesting stage.
