Slavery is only within the confines of flesh.
To move from flesh to spirit abolishes slavery in all its forms.

Jesus reportedly said - ''Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.'' Ephesians 6:5

''Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ.'' Colossians 3:22

This is not condemnation of the practice of slavery. The OT is worse.
