'The GB received their appointment from the master, Jesus, as did the apostles ' . Fair enough, but there are 2 appointments, as you would know. The second appointment, over all the masters belongings(Mathew 24:47),is conditional on them being faithful to their first appointment (verse 45). Hence the statement, "who really is the faithful and discrete slave" is in the form of a question. Aren't we in effect pre-empting Christ's future judgment, by assuming each individual member of the GB is faithful and discrete by our own estimation?
