Seems to be a common theme amongst explorers these days.
In days of yore, if you so much as hinted at a discovery of (insert resource here) then the sp took off.
Doesn't appear to be the case nowadays.
Two recent examples with which I am intimately familiar:
VRC (formally MOZ) had found the largest jumbo/super jumbo flake graphite in Africa....so what? Are you selling it yet? No. Then your MC stays like it is.
88E increases chance of success by 50% and independently has 1.4B barrels, in-house 3.6B.... Price tanks as the market expected more... Or a typo, or DT, depending upon whom you believe..
Once we start getting the stuff out of the ground, then POG comes into it, and it's on like DonkeyKong.
