Just joined a new company and one of my colleague is Zimbabwean. Had long chat with him about investing in African counties and also Zimbabwe. He hopes Zimbabwe's opposition will win but seems unlikely.
To him it seems like current president is trying to prove he can make a different. He also say Africa countries are growing fast... If a company management has good relationship/connection with the government and able to work well with them, he sees no reason why the company won't be successful.
I absolutely agree with him being a Malaysian with similar political experience.
