Copy of my post on SS...
Hi All,
I just got off the phone with Davina Bridgeman, Investor Relations and Marketing of EpiTan, in regards to the Intersuisse Analyst Report 24/08/2004. See EPT website:

Some every interesting comments made in the report that relate to PSD/PSM. Ms. Davina Bridgeman said that the PSM's injectable liquid dose porous silicon slow release is a jell solution that is injected with a very small needle. She also said that they were working closely with PSM on other projects. This correlates with my conversation with PSD last week when I queried EPT and PSD's current working relationship due to the fact that EPT did not show on PSD's website. I was told that this would be corrected and EPT would be put on the PSD website as a collaborator.
It appears that all projects are moving along. We just need to be patient for the results of these projects to come to light and be reported on.
Cheers,
Brantley

Working Toward Commercialisation
Phase III clinical trials of Melanotan using the implant delivery are planned to start by mid-2005 under US Federal Drug Authority (FDA) protocol. These trials will involve 1,500 to 2,000 volunteers in the USA, Europe and Australia. The expected objective of the trials will be to enable approval for marketing the implants as a protection against skin damage/injury from UV radiation (sunburn).
Work is also well underway on alternative delivery mechanisms including three systemic topical forms: one with Thomas Skold / CollaGenex, one with Transdermal technologies Inc near prototype stage ans a Monash University 'patch' technology. pSimedica is active on an injectable liquid dose porous silicon slow release and Monash an oral formulation. Epitan now expects one of these '2nd Generation' products could be available for trials shortly.
