Psi80 can probably give you a much better reply but regarding question 2, assuming the LCM has only blocked the horizontal section of the well (likely as this is where the open fractures are) then they could still use the vertical section of the well and then re-drill the sidetrack.
Not quite a whole new well but still a fair bit of re-drilling.
How JKA would pay for 15% of the next campaign is a worry though.
