Hi PSI/ others
I am trying to understand how and why MO-2 (morocco) was found to have been biodegraded due to erosion and exposure of the reservoir to weathering. Questions:
1- normally when you drill updip, your chances of finding something increase? isnt TAO-1 updip to MO-1 and MO-5.. or have I got this wrong?
2- TAO-1 seems a while away from MO-2 and MO-8, seems like La Dam is a lot closer.. shouldnt they be drilling this?
3- When drilling updip normally, does this always increase the risk of biodegradation? Anywhere in the world?
4- Im still trying to understand what biodegradation is and how does it actually work.. i mean, so the oil was once light and now became heavy due to weathering?
