I agree with kastin etc, there's no delay compared to what they forecast.

This is pretty normal for testing an offshore well from what I know (though I've never worked offshore). There is a lot of work to be done preparing the well for testing.

You may be thinking of a simple drill stem test, which this is not. This is an actual production test.

As for what they do with the offtake, they will flare off any gas and oil will be collected in tanks.
