Hi Bendigo , none of the serious companies have ever claimed to have a cure . For treatment of the symptoms the vitamin D drugs first appeared in the nineties for mild psoriasis and are still quite good . Dovonex is a vitamin D drug . Methotrexate was used for the serious cronic psoriasis , which could even be life threatening . Methatrexate is a serious chemo with side effects . More recently the biologics have appeared with almost no side effects compared to Methatrexate . They include Enbrel , Humira and Remicade . They are systemic drugs and owe their mode of action to Peptech TNF technology . They have and continue to be very successful . Recently some very rare side effects have appeared . About 6 patients out of all the millions using them have come down with TB . Coramsine attacks the symptoms in a different manner by modulating the inflamitory cytokine interlukin 6 and hopefully reducing the side effects further and raising the bar a little . IMHO
Here is a link you may find interesting to the manufacturer of Dovonex . http://www.leo-pharma.com/w-site/leo/docs.nsf/2addbdd119e92fb08025690a004eb625/1cef619dc18f68eac1256be50024404d?OpenDocument
I think I know a way to get your money back you have spent on those thieving skin specialists , but if I told you I may be accused of ramping .
