Stereotypes and labelling terms would seem unreliable as psychological constructs because these rely on a set of preconceived notions and assumptions - which do not always have their basis in reality.
Personality traits have proved to be reliable constructs that apply cross-culturally (have universal application /validity).
An example of one of the most well known personality factor analysis models is O-C-E-A-N - the big five personality factors, namely Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. This and other personality assessments are often used in psychometric assessments of prospective employees, or psychological assessments/ research.
Most research has shown that both nature and nurture influence the big five personality factors equivalently.
