I have been reading the posts on this thread for some time and its been interesting to see who's in (Soros) and who's out (JP Morgan) and the positive rerating of Kalplats resources up about 7% etc etc...
The single factor that makes very little sense to me is that the SP on Oct 14 hit a dollar and PT was $1360 an oz. Today PT is $1500/oz, and the SP is just threatening a dollar again. Surely the cost of producing an oz of PT would be relatively constant, especially over a 2 month period, perhaps someone knows what it costs PLA to produce an oz of PT, if so it would be very easy to calculate the percentage profit increase the price rise of $140 oz would produce.
I am predicting it would be a substantial percentage rise which for some unknown reason, at least to me, is not reflected in the SP.
Could someone be kind enough if they know the production costs could they post them please.
