I mostly invest in mining and energy stocks, with a career background in energy projects (surface facilities). Part of my investment approach is to consider whether the right players are in place, management, JV partners, customers.
PTR is doing remarkably well in this respect. It appears to have developed strong geological links in Spain and in MEP and research insto's. Driven by power industry mgmt, and with BPT as a project partner.
BPT imo would not have bought in if they were dependent on one unknown, untested rig that they do not have a contract to use. Lord Nelson is too astute for that. Imported rigs have a chequered history, eg White Sands Petroleum's gee whiz Norwegian rig through which they were to claim prospect equity.
