Petratherm, Comet Ridge call ASX halts

GEOTHERMAL explorer Petratherm and coal seam gas-focused Comet Ridge have called for a trading halt while they finalise plans for raising new capital.
Petratherm said it would make an announcement regarding a capital raising by way of a placement with a broker.
The company expects to make the announcement before the start of trading on Friday, May 15, 2009.
The trading halt of Comet Ridge’s securities will remain in place until the start of trading on Monday, May 18, or until the company makes the announcement on the capital raising.
