hello wise people, ive been looking to add 1 or 2 asset managers to my portfolio given the recent pullback in price.
just started doing some research but wouldnt mind getting some thoughts on PTT/PTM/IFL.
so far it seems PTT has international exposure/diversification and backed by a superstar investor (who is getting old, so keyperson is a risk).
PTM is the most exposed to australian equities but has excellent processes and has an excellent track record/investment philosophy; it is heavily reliant on independent financier advisers to get $$ in.
IFL is the most vertically integrated of the 3 and does not rely on other advisers to chanel $$ into its funds unlike PTM, but investment track record not the best..
Value-wise, seems PTM is cheapest atm. All 3 are capital light, generate excellent FCF & pays good divvies.
Thoughts?
