Very good question, as far as I’m aware and IMO PTX100 works if you like down stream of RAS gene family KRAS, HRAS, and NRAS proteins. As per Prescient published documentation below, PTX100 blocks all 3 Rho, Rac, Ral pathways so in essence covers all RAS gene family mutations, unlike Amgen AMG 510 targeting KRAS.
So very interesting times ahead for the upcoming PTX100 basket trials commencing hopefully this month. If PTX100 can demonstrate it’s effectiveness in the broader subset of RAS, then I think we’ll potentially have the No1 RAS inhibiter on the market. Again all IMO…
