Every thing you said above makes sense. However, I don't really agree with your point about publicly pumping our collaboration at risk of Omnicar being a flop. I don't think that is TF's worry. Other big pharma willingly allowed their collaboration to be pumped by small biotech without such fear of failure. And there have been many such failures.

Both very valid possible reasons but IMO its probably nothing to do with PTX specifically and more likely a TF policy to protect its brand. It is likely they have similar, much lighter and much deeper partnerships all over the globe. Its also likely that in the past the use of the name has been used in a less than spectacular way creating a need for a blanket policy, much easier to have that than manage each and every scenario and have to address illegitimate uses creating tensions with partners. Id suggest its no more or less complex than that, but Im often wrong.
