Given how CarT is advancing towards being the formidable replacement to chemotherapy, the FDA need to investigate all possible safety issues. The fact is that such a correlation never stopped chemo from being used. It would be interesting to compare the stats in %. Nineteen cases doesn't seem like a lot. Best that it be investigated, though. It could lead to a beneficial solution and/or attract more attention on universal fixes such as OmniCAR and CellPryme-A.... plus place more importance on the need for personalised treatment and targeted therapies in combination with CarT. Nothing to worry about... just the FDA doing its thing, most likely.
