What is war good for? Money, control and position for the undertaker. It's a great distraction for what's at stake and usually disguises deeper and more sinister agendas. HC is a typical example how the war-mongering attacks on management and HC posters surface at a time when the SP is most vulnerable to downside moves... when holders are at their most doubtful.
The way I see it, the fundamentals of PTX have not changed since the SP was 30c. In fact, they have improved in the sense that we are closer to news flow and potential milestones being achieved. We are still on track for the same data readout as we were expecting before. The only things that have changed are the original timelines and the SP. Consistent negativity, skepticism and cynicism coupled with declarations to never selling a single share, I take with my own pinch of cynicism. I dont ignore the posts but I do question their motive, as all readers should.
As for the "love affair with SYC"... well that's a passive aggressive comment if ever I've read one. No love affair here. Those posters choosing to focus on the positives and fundamentals of this company at this point in time, simply believe that SYC can get the job done despite the not-so-rosy geopolitical scene. That does not equate to a "love affair". In fact, in light of SYC's numerous references to the SP action and value proposition, I stated on 22/02/2022 and I quote, "So now would be a really pertinent time for SYC, I think, to put his money where his mouth is!"
I don't consider that a CEO of a company not buying shares in a pullback is in any way a signal not to buy shares oneself. However, I do think that if a CEO is going to have the audacity to highlight a stock's value proposition in the manner that he has (which is quite ballsy) then he needs to buy up big time and/or deliver up big time. And, I think it has to be done in a short time frame to garner or maintain any respect. The fact that i believe it'll be the latter, that's just IMHO and a no-lovey-dovey attitude!
