Is this the reason that PTX are holding off from starting our first OmniCAR clinical trial, do you think, Unique? With the way the financial markets are, it would make sense to delay the start until we can incorporate our resultant R&D technology with Thermo FIsher - to derive the cost savings by doing in-house, decentralised manufacturing ourselves using TF equipment. Its been in the back of my mind for some time.
National media exposure of immunotherapy by well-known commentators, pressure from the public, cancer sufferers and oncological experts like the Prof, could certainly help our cause. Strike while the iron is hot! I think SYC needs to really hammer home how OmniCAR, CellPryme and TF's collab can make Car T trials and therapies much cheaper!
