After watching the OmniCAR presentaion, I get the feeling that the aim for the platform is to be sold before it enters the clinic.

"When you've got a platform that can radically change the way you do things, the value is not necessarily added once you get into the clinic, you can add a lot of value before that, as evidenced by Xyphos being bought out by Astellas at a similar stage of development. There is real value in the preclinical work and I'd invite you all to pay attention to this as we progress all of these programs".
Also, he is very open about the fact that discussions are being had with companies who would buy this product during question time.
