Buying into options increases your leverage. In theory, for every 1c rise in the share price, the price of the options should also increase by the same amount (although bear in mind that options are a little less liquid). Thus, if the SP increases by 1 cent (from the current SP of 26.5) it equates to 3.77% increase. However, if the options increase by this same 1c amount (from their current price of 20c), it equates to 5% increase.

Hence for the same outlay/investment (if you were to toss between shares or options), options will always give you a better percentage return (leverage).
