It appears that the December meeting is the first meeting for Oncosil and MSAC will basically decide if it is an appropriate service to be considered by them for funding.
If so, and I expect so, then that will trigger the next step in the process which is independent information gathering by MSAC via experts and associations. This also includes an cost effectiveness assessment.
The Company then gets to respond to that.
Eventually MSAC will decide if the service should be funded and then how much the rebate will be.
It will take the best part of 12 months.
TGA also takes about 9-10 months from acceptance of submission, so the TGA outcome should be out before MSAC decide, which is a necessary step.
