Here is my shot at the political situation surrounding the Kvanefjeld project right now.
The coalition government is pro-mining, pro-uranium and pro the Kvanefjeld project.
Siumut have a new chairman Erik Jensen, Erik is to the left of Kim Kielsen the former chairman, and Erik wants a new coalition agreement with Democrats, which is to the right of Kim Kielsen, so not a 100% easy task for Erik.

These negotiations might result in a break up of the coalition and, most likely, a Siumut minority government. This is only a problem for the Kvanefjeld project, if it later results in so much political turmoil that the Siumut minority government(Erik) has to call parlamentary elections. The IA-party(anti-uranium) stands to gain from parlamentary elections, which may mean the premature end of the Kvanefjeld project, due to political instability. Not good for Greenland. The pressure is on for Siumut and Democrats.

Naja Lund (IA-party) demands postponement by § 87 b.3 in the mineral resources act. This is a (deliberate) misunderstanding on her part. § 87 b.3 states that postponement of hearings has to take place when Naalakkersuisut cannot participate, not when they wont participate as is the case here (due to threats). So PH can continue, no law against it.
