As their Minister Peter Dutton has disappeared for weeks, a slightly bewildered spokesman popped up to declare: "We are looking into procuring air purifiers for key sites."
Months into a disaster. And they're starting to think about doing something. For themselves, so they can breathe through a natural disaster that they should be responding to. Haven't made a decision yet, still thinking. So they've just gone home to watch the cricket while the country burns.
Honestly. It's a miracle they can get dressed in the morning and feed themselves with that attitude.
