I agree with that. I'm not keen on Li electrolyte as its too volatile and newer, more energy dense forms of battery are on their way.
I've been wanting to install a battery for many years. perhaps I should have used old 12v car batteries as others have done but acid batteries? too much mucking' about for my liking,
as I've written several times, we've got our energy consumption pretty well under control. in summer we get down to 4kw/day and last bill for June was 6kw/day. but theres always room for improvement so I wouldn't mind getting some new advice.
if a service can improve what we do with our electricity I think its obligatory that we engage and reduce our use more than we have done already.
finally I prefer not to borrow money. so I'm not beholden to anyone other than the bank due to my mortgage. and that doesn't have much left on it either.
