Perhaps you might address the issue that the government's plans are for individually owned batteries including those in EVs to be used to balance the grid. This is well publicised as part of achieving the Net Zero targets.

How then will the government reward or compel individuals to participate?

This is a fair and reasonable question. Gratuitous insults won't answer the issue.
