There are many people in public service who are going to be working significant unpaid OT and putting their health at risk while others stay comfortably at home during this crisis.
I think it would be reasonable to argue for a pay cut to politicians, executive staff, middle level managers, etc. but not to front line workers. I would argue that front line workers including nurses, police, bin men etc. all deserve to be paid more for their efforts during this crisis.
