What charts are you referring to? The official worldwide deaths for 2020 have not been released. In fact the charts that show annual deaths for 2020 are from modelling done in 2019 and are predicted deaths etc. Currently though Sweden have reported 98000 deaths in 2020, their previous max was 92000, this could also increase due to delayed reporting. The UK exceeded their usual annual deaths in November according to the ONS and will have an annual increase of 10%. USA are also posting a 10% increase in annual deaths. The official charts you are looking at will be revised in the coming months.
