Hey Disco Stu,

That George Thorogood song brings back so many memories.

I saw them at the Belmont 16 footers in about 82/83.

It was a time when all the great local bands were $5:00 a ticket. Bands like Mondo Rock, Angels, Aussie Crawl, Radiators, Sunny Boys, the Oils. They were all $5:00 to see.

Well one Thursday night this band called George Thorogood and the Destroyers were coming and their ticket preices were $8:00. Me and me mates had never heard of George Thorogood and the Destroyers but hey it was a Thursday night and being $8:00 they MUST be good so we went. And to this day it still is the best concert I have ever been too.....
