There is still a flood of money coming off low fixed interest/bonds looking for a safe return in stocks - so the story goes. If this dip today scares people off then the run is over for a while otherwise more upside.
Any move down in $A is bad as overseas money is supposed to drive the market here and it won't come in if the A$ looks like falling.
