Gunns have gone through the motions of stringing along contractors and hoteliers etc, holding out the prospect of big spin offs from the mill construction, but the fact is, they've got no money and can't even pay their bills. I read recently that they've announced a potential JV partner 22 times and still haven't produced one.
Their annual report is due out today or tomorrow, that could tell a tale.
