How does Gunns manage to pay the bills? With over 1,000 employees to be paid each week, at what point will the Directors throw in the towel or risk being compromised should the company be trading whilst insolvent. The ANZ Bank has kept it afloat but with no evidence of a JVP and no finance for a pulp mill the day of reckoning must be almost nigh. The Gunns MIS tax scam ship, now empty of chips, may well be holed below the waterline, for although the orchestra of sycophants is still playing the usual rousing tunes, the decks are clear and the crew is in the lifeboats as the ship seems about to sink.
