Analogy of buying shares - buying a car.

You did your due diligence and research in selecting a car. There was plenty of choices available and the information was clear and accurate for you to make an informed decision. You even test drive it as a QA tick. You bought it. You must have been happy with your process as you don't make poor decisions right.

You then go onto an anonymous forum and bag the car. You say unsubstanciated this and that. You then email the car manufacturer and complain that it won't go 0-100 in 3 seconds, it won't go on the beach and the roof doesn't come down.

At some point down the track after emotional outbursts to complete strangers and company officials you see your original brochure on the bench and a quick flick through makes you realise it's not the cars fault as it's done exactly as advertised.

Your options are to sell the car because performing as advertised isn't for you or you modify your thought process and bring your expectations in line with reality. Neither of these options involves mindless and relentless attacking of a business. It isn't the car that looks like a fool.
