Your a trader Len, and nothing wrong with that, good luck. Different people have diufferent strategies, I'm not going into that old argument. But as carrage says, if you were looking medium- long term nothing wron with buying at 2.8-2.9. as far as the announcement today goes, just formalities. We knew they were being issued. Not sticking up for that either as I'm still fuming.
