This has bveen addressed in the EA and accepted by the EPA. It is not being concentrated, but remains in the waste. The final waste will contain a lower concentration than the existing rock due to the limestone being added.

What most people do not know is that coal also contains uranium. To follow the greenie implied logic it should be illegal to mine coal.

When it is burnt in a coal fired power station it is concentrated 10 times in the ash. The fly ash is then used in concrete for roads and buildings. This should be illegal.

Uranium is in all rocks and soils in is small concentrations, but it is there. It is therefore illegal to mine (read dig) anywhere or to plough a field. I don't know what we can eat.

If it is so dangerous the Kiwis should evacuate the Dunedin region since the rocks there contain similar amounts of Uranium to the DZP!!!

Maybe we need to have a sense of a realistic balance or to leave the earth.

A little knowledge can be dangerous thing..
