I cannot recall seeing anywher where the company has stated the lifetime of the pump . Although the Unilife pumps will not be used for insulin They will be used for individuals with chronic conditions i.e. conditions which require lifetime treatment. Speaking to a work colleague whose daughter has an insulin pump she tells me they only have a lifetime of four years and this one cost her and her husband $4,000.00 after a subsidy from the junior diabeties foundation
