So - let me get this strait - two dams are needed for each of these pumped hydro sites.
What could be easier. Dams are easy to build anywhere in Oz - all the time - no worries there.
And the energy to pump the water uphill comes from some other generation. Right - so that generation has to be replaced as it is taken out of feeding the grid. This whole pumped storage jazz just sounds better and better.
