If you have been to Kalgoorlie you would realise that the town is very flat, so this 'reservoir' wouldn't be easily built because the volume of water you need to retain in it, is huge.
I don't mean to be negative or a smart arse but really, people need to THINK before coming up with this shit, and inform themselves at least with a basic understanding of how things work.
