    Capacitors are not batteries and store electrons, not a change in chemistry. This means, as they discharge, the voltage falls linearly to zero, this creates special problems when designing how to make AC fixed voltage from hugely variable dc voltage. Super capacitors are very low voltage, typically 2.5V and cannot go over voltage without blowing up. they need complete equal voltage distribution across all the caps which is nonviable.

    I believe Coal is the answer, coal is good and Australia must re embrace it. If the rest of the world is building 1000's of plants, why do we disadvantage ourselves, by not replacing our ones that have shut????
