re: whats the suprise? true, but look at a monthly chart, the move up can proceed without breaking any TA rules, if market support continues. I have a medium term target of 20c by early 2007, and will hold for that (my resumption-of-uptrend line is at 15c currently - I do not see it as overbought below this). Price on weekly close below uptrend support line (currently 3.0c) will trigger my exit.
T+3, and day traders generally do make for strong and unsustainable swings, but the price does not have to retrace more than around 20% just because the climb is steep - it can be merely making up for prolonged sideways trading.
The trouble with banking good profits (over 150% in this case, in about 3 months) is that you have to give Costello half the gain. If the price just goes sideways or increases another 20%, you can more than double your profit at the 1 yr mark.
Will the retrace of today continue? maybe, though to even hold this level is a great week of gain, and quite sustainable.
Is EXT in uptrend? Yes!! I hold while that continues, with no camparison to PDN interferring with my TA.
