ROBGEM you are correct that I haven't followed in last couple of months. I do glance occasionally but I cover a lot of ground. Perhaps I have spoke too soon in this case and they may be a changed beast.

Some signs of hope are that they seem to have got rid of the company secretary and the old chairman has been pushed down the ranks though still on the board. The recent exploration results seem to have been prepared by a real geologist (!)- I will take a closer look when I have time. Though they would be better off having nothing to do with Barminco, if Peter Buck and other shareholders are able to keep them under the thumb then there is hope. It wasn't a single incident with these guys though it was a whole series of transactions with the majority holders. Anything like this needs to be scrutinized carefully - thats up to the ordinary shareholders and occasionally hotcopper posters as you won't read it in the AFR.
