"the problem is to make money you buy low, sell high." You only need to do this if you are trading. If you buy for the long term and use the investments own income stream to pay it off then your buy price is less relevant. Obviously the lower you can buy the better off you will be for the future but most people will never buy at the best price or even sell at the best price. Hindsight is a wonderful thing - but time is a great leveller.
